The Champion blades are what actually makes a Champion glass scraper worth its weight in gold.
A good blade is a precision-made, ultra-sharp and very thin piece of metal. Blades can be made of stainless steel or carbon steel.
Carbon steel blades are preferred for heavy use because they are thicker and a bit stronger, but the knives generally rust quickly, so they are only really good for one day's use.
Stainless steel blades are much more resistant to rust and more flexible, but are not quite as sharp. If you only scrape occasionally, we would recommend using stainless steel blades.
Champion scraper blades are very economical to use.
