Weed lance suitable for weed control with hot water. X-weed Weed lance is particularly suitable for the destruction or removal of weeds and wild herbs.
The actual destruction of weeds occurs through contact with hot water at boiling point*, which can be produced by certain hot water cleaners that work at low pressure without the process.**
During the working process, the steel lance becomes extremely wet, as hot water (close to boiling point) flows through the unit.
The X-weed Weed Lance is therefore manufactured with an extra long heat shield, to minimize the risk that the user can 'burn' their fingers on the hot lance during use.
Weed control with hot water is far more effective and economical to use than methods such as burning, hot air or steam, as this working method requires fewer treatments to achieve the same result.
When treating weeds with hot water, it is recommended to work with a constant water temperature of 97 - 99°C. This method is more effective than treatment with both steam and hot air, both in terms of the quick visible results as well as in the long term.
