Moisture in wood causes rotten surfaces. Wet surfaces provide perfect living conditions for the growth of microorganisms.
NANO Protect Wood impregnation effectively protects, cares for and maintains woodwork and pressure-treated wood on e.g. terraces, plankwork, garden furniture, swing stands and buildings.
The product is based on the very latest nanotechnology, and penetrates deep into and actively connects to the surface, making it resistant to biological fouling.

NANO Protect Wood impregnation prevents the penetration of water and moisture, and at the same time keeps the wood resistant and dry, because the water beads off for several years after the treatment. Also protects against dirt and weather degradation, so the life of the wood is extended.
If NANO Protect Wood is used on wooden facades, the indoor climate is improved by reducing the moisture in facades and walls that can form harmful mold on interior walls.
Application: NANO Protect Wood Wood impregnation can be applied directly to surfaces that are younger than 1 year. Older surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned with water flushing and mechanical/manual cleaning with a stiff brush or high-pressure cleaner.
Surfaces with discolouration and algae and moss growth as well as heavily soiled surfaces are treated with an Algae Remover and finally rinsed thoroughly with clean water. When the surface is visibly and noticeably dry, after approx. 1 day, depending on the weather, wind and temperature, it is ready for treatment.
NANO Protect Wood Wood impregnation is applied with a low-pressure sprayer (max 10 bar), roller or soft brush in as thin a layer as possible.
One application is enough for normal surfaces, but if you want to apply an extra time, this must be done within max. 1 hour after the first application (so wet on wet), as otherwise the surface has already formed a barrier which prevents the additional application.
Recommendation: Always carry out a test on a small area to ensure the compatibility of product and surface. Cover parts and areas not to be treated. The product must not be applied to glass and windows of any kind, as it can matt the glass.

Does the impregnation color?
-No, the product is colorless after application and does not protect against UV light either. The wood impregnation will therefore leave the wood with its natural patina.
